Balgownie Equine Centre is a registered Veterinary Clinic set up originally as a referral clinic for cases that needed some extra care and attention. Horse owners can now self-refer cases to us and we offer a range of Veterinary Services. These include:

  • lameness assessment,
  • poor performance evaluations,
  • nutritional advice,
  • care of wounds and injuries,
  • dentistry,
  • freeze branding,
  • colic management
  • and other horse problems.

    • The facilities at Balgownie Equine Centre are of such a high standard that it is often preferable to bring horses here to be treated, rather than have the Veterinary Surgeon travel to the horse. We will, however do home visits if they are needed.
